Michigan Herb Associates Brings Story Teller Dawn Daniels To 2010 Annual Conference
Story artist Dawn Daniels of Alma, Michigan will be the keynote speaker at the Twenty-third Annual Michigan Herb Associates banquet to be held during Michigan State UniversityÕs 2010 Agriculture and Natural Resources Week in March 2010. Her banquet address will be "A Garden Story".
Dawn is a story artist of "uncommon gifts and graces" who is devoted to creating an entertaining, transformative, and empowering experience for her listeners. With talents honed by training in theatre, music and therapeutic arts, this multi-faceted performer has brought story to life in a wide variety of venues including the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Williamston Theatre, Alma College, and the Michigan Story Festival. Drawing from a large repertoire of story and song that has been crafted from the wisdom and humor of many traditions, Dawn will present a garden tapestry of multicultural story, song, and movement.
The banquet is Wednesday, March 10, 2010, 6:30 pm, Kellogg Conference Center, Big 10C, Michigan State University, and is open to everyone, not just those attending the 2- day conference. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 517.374.6053 no later than March 3, 2010. Cost is $35 per ticket.
