MARIETTA COLLEGE HONORS JANE L. TAYLOR

MHA lifetime member Jane L. Taylor was named the 2017 Distinguished Alumna during homecoming festivities at Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio, October, 19-22, 2017.
Jane, as you know, the founding curator of the award-winning Michigan 4-H Children’s Garden at Michigan State University and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Horticulture at Michigan State, received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from Marietta College. Jane won the 1995 Silver Seal Award from the National Council of State Garden Clubs, received the “Jane L. Taylor Great American Gardeners Award,” from the American Horticulture Society, and received the Nancy Putnam Howard Award for Excellence in Horticulture, along with her husband Lee, from the Herb Society of America. Congratulations Jane! We’re proud to call you “friend.” |
